StereoLift Live for Meta Quest — Legal and Privacy Summary
Version: quest_app_notice_v2_2026-08-14 · Last updated: 2026-08-14
Effective date: 14 August 2026
StereoLift Live for Meta Quest is a companion app for the StereoLift Live desktop software running on a PC you control.
In supported normal use, capture and conversion run on the PC and the raw media stream travels over the local network to the Quest app. StereoLift online services are used separately for account access, device authorisation, entitlement and usage control, security, support and updates. Internet access can therefore still be required.
The app requires an adult StereoLift Live account, a currently assigned access profile, compatible desktop software and equipment, and a compatible local network. The current consumer offer is for users aged 18 or older in Germany for private, non-commercial use.
The account agreement is concluded through the StereoLift Access & plans page. Installing or opening the Quest app does not by itself create an account, paid package or permanent entitlement. Access is governed by the profile currently assigned to the account. A Free profile can change or end; a paid package exists only after a separate express order.
The current Quest app does not upload optional StereoLift diagnostic reports. Optional desktop diagnostics, where offered, are separate and off by default.
VR use can cause discomfort, dizziness, eye strain, disorientation or fatigue. Use the product in a safe environment, remain aware of your surroundings, take breaks and follow Meta's device safety instructions. Do not rely on StereoLift Live for safety-critical use.
